The Light Sarin are one of the few races of Cerolia that have the ability to fly. They are short, generally very lightweight, and can summon a set of six wings (3 on each side that move independently of each other) from crystal formations on their backs. Their wings can be feathered, fae, or draconic. Other than the requirement that they number 6, their overall visual appearance tends to be unique to the individual. Once summoned, the crystals on their back extend along with the wings to form a strong base. They have curled or pointed horns atop their head, as well as pointed ears. Many tend to be stronger than they look at first glance, as their muscle’s structure is more efficient than most other races for their size.

Their symbiont patterns always come in the form of dots running up their outer thighs in a direct line. The number of dots tends to change from individual to individual, however. They always have markings on their hands and feet as well. These markings come in the form of unique lightning-like patterns, which can be felt like ridges in the skin. Colors for their skin tone are typically on a spectrum of tans and browns, while on rare occasion some individuals can be snowy white. Their hair, eye, and wing colors have no such limitations.

The ‘Light’ in their name refers to the period of time when they are naturally active. Light Sarin are diurnal, with a standard circadian rhythm.

*Another rare trait comes from their close ancestry to the Dark Sarin, allowing them to have a tapetum lucidum and slit feline-like eyes. This allows them the ability to see well in the dark.
