The Dark Sarin are one of the few races of Cerolia capable of flight. They are short, generally very lightweight, and can summon a set of six wings (3 on each side that move independently of each other) from crystal formations on their backs. Their wings can be feathered, fae, or draconic. Other than the requirement that they number 6, their overall visual appearance tends to be unique to the individual. Once summoned, the crystals on their back extend along with the wings to form a strong base. They have antlers instead of horns atop their head that continuously fall off and grow back with the passing of the seasons. Many tend to be stronger than they look at first glance, as their muscle’s structure is more efficient than most other races for their size.
Their symbiont patterns always come in the form of dots running up their outer thighs in a direct line. The number of dots tends to change from individual to individual, however. They always have markings on their hands and feet as well. These markings come in the form of unique patterns and designs, which can also appear on other parts of their bodies (Face, Torso, Arms). The colors for their skin tone, hair, horn, eye, and wings have no limitations.
The ‘Dark’ in their name refers to the period of time when they are naturally active. Dark Sarin are nocturnal, with a reversed circadian rhythm.
